Southend Pier

Southend Pier, the 1.34mile long pleasure pier has stood for over a century. The structure is accessible by both foot and train and offers panoramic views of the extensive South-East coastline.

Hadleigh Castle

A defensive ruin built by Hubert de Burgh in 1215 before being remodelled by Kind Edward III, Hadleigh Castle is a historic monument to Medieval England. The castle, once part of the estate of Catherine of Aragon, Anne of Cleves and Catherine Parr, overlooks the Thames Estuary offering views across the estuary and into Kent.
